Helicopter Fishing - Steelhead fishing vacations in BC, Canada

Remote and exclusive, we simply do not see other anglers. You will fish in groups of two anglers with a guide and have the choice of six rivers and streams. Fly through jagged peaks and huge glaciers, over dense old growth rainforest and river valleys to find the perfect spot to spend the day. Inflatable rafts positioned on a number of rivers allow for daily float trips. Smaller streams are accessed with the helicopter and anglers walk and wade. The helicopter stays with the group of anglers all day. Sightings of grizzly and black bears, bald eagles, moose, wolves occur almost daily.

On these trips we have found some breathtaking places to catch steelhead. They are aggressive fighters and most of these fish have not seen a fly or lure while in the freshwater. Fishing for the Coho salmon can often be best described as ‘silly’ - big silver fish, fresh from the ocean, pound your feathers all day long.

Seven day packages include accommodation, meals, return transportation from Terrace, BC, daily guide service with three days of helicopter fishing and the use of any fly-fishing equipment during your stay. Flights to Terrace, BC and your BC fishing license are not included.

Weekly Program
Arrival - Upon arrival at the Terrace airport you will be met by your guide. Ground transportation to Bell 2 Lodge takes approximately 4 hours.

Daily program - Breakfast between 6:30 and 8 am depending on guest desires and time of year. Full 8-10 hour days on the water. Lunch served on the river. Dinner at 7:30 pm at the lodge. Lounge and games room open. Included in your weekly package is three daily fly outs by helicopter to remote rivers.

Departure - You will be transferred to the Terrace airport in time for your departing flight. We plan to maximize fishing time on your last day.
